Our Utah/Idaho trip this year was a lot of fun. As always, its fun to see family and friends and be back in the West. The kids enjoy the road trip and staying in a hotel as well. Our trip was split this year with the first half being spent at Amberly's spending time visiting them and the other Day relatives out in Utah. Then Jon and I were able to leave the kiddos at Amberly's house and go to Mexico for 5 days on our own!! When we came back we spent another day with the Days and then headed up North to spend time with the Rider family. I took the kids over to Becky's one day and we got to go swimming with her kids at their neighborhood pool and meet Becky's new baby, Grace. We spent a few days up in Idaho with Grandma and Grandpa Rider and even drove up to Pocatello to visit Catherine and Amy! While in Idaho, we went to Twin Lakes and had a fun time swimming, even though the water was pretty cold! We also spent time playing at the park, picking produce from the garden, playing with different cousins that came to visit, and going for 4 wheeler rides on Grandpa's new 4 wheeler! Jon and I even got to drive up the Clifton mountains a ways on our own. I got to take a turn driving, which was pretty fun. I never got many chances to do that growing up! All in all it was a pretty good trip- the only downer being Zach puking all over the gas station bathroom in Preston on our way back home! It was pretty nasty and stressful but thankfully it was just the once!
