We spent another fun Day Family Reunion at the Granite Springs Lodge in South Dakota in August 2021. The two days before the reunion we spent with a lot of the family up in Rochester hanging out as well. We went swimming at the Stewartville pool and had lots of cousin play time. It was good times. Then we all headed to South Dakota for our second reunion at the Granite Springs Lodge. This time those in charge had us be a little more organized with everything so there were activities and meals planned out each day. For the younger kids, we had a water fight activity day, a day of other outside toys, and Jon and I were in charge of a pretty fun little dance party that was probably the best activity of all ;) We also spent lots of time on the lake again- paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, cliff jumping, fishing, and chatting with family. It was good times! I even spent started each morning teaching Group Blast to Jon, Anne, and Bethany- so that was kind of fun. We had some fun games for adults in the evenings. It's always fun to get together with family! (Even if there were a few melt downs and arguments scattered throughout- but I won't say if it was the adults or kids ;)
